Vera Memories: The Beginning

Türkçe

Beginning A Story

Beginning something is beginning a story, creating a story. It is taking the first steps for a work, an occurrence standing abstractly in your mind. A great deal of designs, ways of thinking, different approaches include agony and sleepless nights. Writing the first sentence is often the most difficult part. It is the moment when the thought “If I start once, the rest will come” reaches saturation, and when the decision “whatever happens” is made among all the positive and negative probabilities. New possibilities bring excitement and anxiety full of uncertainty. It is a naive and determined emotional state where the clothes are hung up and the shoes are prepared at night and when the waiting is over.

Beginning a story becomes one of the things that brings you into existence with the enthusiasm and abstention of creating something that will touch someone else’s life. Beginning a story is to stand at the beginning of a road and try to guess the end.

Courage requires beginning.
